NORTHWEST HOME EDUCATORS: A CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOL GROUP
We are a Christian homeschooling support group, located in San Antonio, Texas, for families who are educating their children at home.
Our mission is to glorify God by supporting and encouraging one another through prayer, mentoring and fellowship as we educate our children at home. We work to enhance your family’s home education experience through field trips and celebrations.
Membership requires the family to be home educating according to Texas State Law. Each member will be responsible for helping with the success of the events by holding a position within the group. Here is a list of our job descriptions.
Membership registration for Northwest Home Educators (NWHE) is open year round until we meet capacity. We open re-registration for current members every June and to new members starting July 1st. Your membership will be considered complete once you have paid and filled out the registration form, which can be found under Join Us.

What We Do
We do not provide classes or teach your children. We do provide regular get togethers with like-minded peers so you and your children can develop friendships with other homeschooling families.

Our group gets together has one park day, field trip, and teen/tween night each month from September through May. We also have parties, MNO, volunteer events and special events throughout the year. Locations are primarily on the NW side of San Antonio. Members are always welcome to add additional events to the calendar.
